Back Home Again

Up before dawn, we got an early start in an attempt to beat the predicted rains into Annapolis.  The winds started off at about 12-15 out of the NE-E which gave us several hours of very pleasant sailing, but then the winds died and the remainder of the trip was in very calm wind and seas.  We arrived at our new dock on Mill Creek and tied up Merlin in her new home.  Alison had dropped off our car so we spent the next hour or so cleaning up and unloading the boat and we were off for home just barely before rush hour.  As we pulled out on route 50 it started to rain.  Another successful East Coast Cruising season is over.
